first off, thanks to all our fans and friends who came out to the rockfest in montebello. as you have witnessed, we went back to our down and dirty performance. i truly missed that and it felt good. my mind is clearer now than it has ever been before. i thought i wouldn't enjoy these chaotic shows anymore because of that, but boy was i wrong. thanks again to everyone, it was an awesome concert.
we will be playing an electro-acoustic set at the Musiqu'en Nous festival in Montebello on August 12th with Karkwa, Capitaine Révolte and Konflit. except for Karkwa, all shows are free. we might also play some secret warm-up shows in small clubs... keep your eyes opened.
for those of you dying to hear some new material, be patient. it is coming along slowly, but surely. i've been busy as hell with my other baby (the rockfest). gabriel has been on vacation and antoine is still working on the music video for Self-Inflicted Oppression, and he will be playing on Friday at the Medley in montreal for a Radio-Canada concert.
once the electro-acoustic shows are done this summer, we will resume work in the studio. i will TRY to keep this blog updated more often.
thanks for all the kind words and emails all the time. lots of great things coming along for deadly apples, the rockfest and in my life in general. i'm still insane, but i'm starting to find happiness through my insanity i think. don't worry, i still have the hunger to destroy the world, i'm not going soft.
